I was shocked to received a returned Xmas card today 1/28/2010 sent to Michael Monteith. Michael would have been 60 this year. I'm the Mother of his close friend, Michael Johnson. Michael M. passed a day before Michael J's birthday. Michael J. passed a day before Michael M's birthday (1996). They were known as "the two Michaels" - particularly by airline personnel, for about 10 years. I kept in touch with Michael over the past 13 years and feel so sad that NOFLYY (our main means of...

I remember Mike ...fun, talkative,a planner and organizer, enthusiastic about the people around him and about life. My parents knew his parents, and were saddened when Mike's father suddenly died. I share their sadness now with Mike's passing.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. He is an exceptional person that will be truly missed.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Michael's death. He and I first met in 7th grade. My fondest memories are of a trip he and I took in a Greyhound Bus filled with young teens, chaperoned by several of our Junior High School teachers. Michael kept us laughing for miles on end. In Washington DC, he was in heaven when we had the opportunity to tour the senate in session. What an incredibly memorable summer. Blessings to you, Michael.

Very sorry to hear about Mike. We attended CMC together and kept in touch over the years. Hope he was surrounded with loved ones at the end. Please let me know when you schedule his celebration of life. Jim Roberts

May his soul be at peace now. I will always laugh thinking of our many good memories.
