CPT Morton was my first CO at my first duty station in Germany. I will always remember the last chat I had with CPT Morton on his last day as our CO. He shared with me how the ARMY picks your next duty station, he was right my duty stations were the same as my first. The good thing was that my Army career started with his leadership and my foundation was strong. I hope he knows that I did listen to the other piece of advice he game me that day, to put my benefits to work once I finished with...

Mike and I, use to run to the bunker together during motor and rocket attacks. Jammed in a bunker designed to hold way less than was in there. Mike use to say, "okay, thighten up, make your buddy smile". We all laughed...never forget you Mike! Miss you brother!

Mike and I spent a lot of time together in Iraq as contractors. He was a really good guy, total professional and a great friend. Mike will always be a great friend. I miss you brother, we all do. God willing, I will see you again soon.
