Michael Riley Mulhern was born on July 30, 1949, and left this world on October 23, 2014. To say we lost a wonderful man is an understatement. Mike was a father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, cousin, husband, friend, musician, volunteer, leader, builder, mentor, hero, and much more. Mike lived his life to the fullest. A fighter to the end, he leaves behind four children, Mandi (Tommy) Horton, Caley (Daniel) Chavez, Erin Mulhern, and Colin Mulhern. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eleven siblings, and many nieces and nephews. There are no words to express the immense feelings of sorrow all of those who knew Mike are experiencing. He was an inspiration to many and a fair man to all. We have lost an amazing man, but we celebrate in his newest journey. A Celebration of Michael's life was held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary, Tempe, AZ.

The leader of the Troop...
He was my "Irish Twin" brother and his call on the 9th of July to let me know we were the same age was always a treat. He lives on in all the good memories and will be in our thoughts as long as we live. We love you Mike!

A week ago today, the world lost a bright light! Mike was so loved, as you can see by this guest book! He was the oldest Mulhern and my big brother. Recently, I told him "Thank You for walking me down the aisle", and he said "I was honored!" I was honored to not only know and love him, but to have him as my rock and the smartest man I know. Until I see you in the sparkling water of Lake Tahoe Mike, I will think and miss you every day.
