I light this candle in memory of a man admired by many and loved by more. Life will go on minus a faithful, charitable, kind, gentle soul. I love you, Mike, and pray for your children, family, and friends daily. Rest in peace.

He was my "Irish Twin" brother and his call on the 9th of July to let me know we were the same age was always a treat. He lives on in all the good memories and will be in our thoughts as long as we live. We love you Mike!

Mike will be missed by all of his family members. He was an all around "good guy", a wonderful dad to his children, a great "papa" to his grandchildren, and admired by his nieces and nephews. I love you Mike and you will always be in my heart and in my prayers. <3 Kathy

A week ago today, the world lost a bright light! Mike was so loved, as you can see by this guest book! He was the oldest Mulhern and my big brother. Recently, I told him "Thank You for walking me down the aisle", and he said "I was honored!" I was honored to not only know and love him, but to have him as my rock and the smartest man I know. Until I see you in the sparkling water of Lake Tahoe Mike, I will think and miss you every day.

A new day dawns with a piece of me missing....gone forever... Where do I start? How do I move forward? What will life be like without him? Who will I talk to? When will this heart ache go away? So many unanswered questions... All I know is a piece of me is gone, and I'll never get it back! My love for him will only grow stronger. My life will never be the same. A new day, a new way, a new life. I have to believe he is healthy and happy and in a better place... We will meet again one day my friend, my brother, my mentor, my hero. A piece of me is gone, but the rest of me must go on. I will carry you in my heart, Mike, until we meet again. Love you forever and always!

I was both shocked and saddened this morning when I read of Mike's passing last week.
Mike was truly one of the best people I have ever met.
I met Mike when I sold him appliances and fireplaces for the new homes he built throughout the valley.
We later became friends while teammates after he invited me to play on his men's softball team.
My Sincerest Sympathy to Mike's Family and Friends. As you are painfully aware, you lost a VERY SPECIAL GENTLEMAN.
Perhaps one day we'll meet again and enjoy a cold one!
With a heavy heart,
Bill Hoel,

I don't even know where to begin to give this big brother of mine a tribute worthy of the man he was. Mike was our strength, our anchor and our leader after the loss of our parents. He was a role model to my children, their biggest fan and an inspiration to me every day. I find myself wondering how my life will be from this point forward not having his guidance and constant encouragement and love. Only time will tell....but what I do know is that for the rest of my time on this earth I will strive to be more patient, loving, accepting and generous with myself like he was. He was a man who touched so many lives with his wisdom and love and made his family so proud. With every breath I take I miss him more and more.
Mike - I love you so much and until we meet again I will keep you in my heart. I will see you in my kids smiles and I will hear your voice cheering them every time they accomplish something they set out to do. I promise to keep your memory alive in them and remind them of how much you loved them and how proud you were of them. You are truly my hero!

Uncle Mike,
I'll never forget how you used to tell us you lived behind the bowling alley lanes with your dog Strike when we were little. I am so glad I was able to spend a few days with you after your first stroke. We miss you so much. Mulhern family get-togethers will never be the same without your joy and love, but you will be most definitely be remembered and honored every time we do get together. I love you
