Not sure what to say?

Sincere sympathy to Mike’s family and friends. I knew Mike and his best friend Dennis Carlomagno over 60 years ago when he was in high school and attended his wedding. An energetic guy and a good ball player. So many years pass and communication poor especially since I live in Michigan now. I send my deepest regrets regarding Mike’s passing and pray for a cure for Cancer.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mike from our days at SH Class of 1961. Mike was an excellent baseball player & an all-around good guy.Last time I saw Mike & his wife Elaine was at the funeral of another classmate & excellent baseball player, Bill Phelan. After meeting we rekindled our friendshp with phone calls.I was well aware of Mike's fight with cancer, I pray that he passed peacefully. God bless ole budy & may you rest in peace. Mt Condolence to the Mullane family; Mike and I met in the first grade and been friends ever since. We went to high school together and in to the police department. Mike and I had many wonderful years together as good friends. Mike I will miss you my good friend. Rest in peace buddy. Dennis Carlomagno

To the Mullane Family, I was very sad to hear of Mike's passing. I know he faught that disease valiantly and he did not lose the battle, he just ran out of time. My friendship with Mike goes back to our grammar school days at Holy Name. I remember playing with Mike and the rest of our friends all types of sports in the Holy Name schoolyard. Our families were also very good friends. It was a great time to grow up and a great time for all families. The last time I was able to enjoy Mike's...

It was my privilege to work with Mike Mullane on the Golden Dragon Massacre investigation and prosecutions when he was a member of the newly-created Gang Task Force of the SFPD and I was the chief prosecutor of those cases. He embodied the finest aspects of police detectives, including but certainly not limited to his unimpeachable integrity. During the three years between the massacre on September 4, 1977 and the sentencing in April of 1980 of the final defendant Tom Yu who had planned it,...

MULLANE Family,
My heartfelt sympathies on your loss.
I remember Mike fondly from the 4th floor of the Hall and golf courses, and the great times at the old Homicide tournaments. RIP
