Only yesterday did I hear of Michael passing on to eternal life. I have very fond memories of Michael and your family. In fourth grade, Michael had enough exuberance to "light up the entire lower school." He will always be remembered and for now he is safe in God's loving hands. My most fervent prayers go out to you tonite and those of many others to whom Michael's story will touch close to home. Our dear parish priest was praying for Michael and your family today. We, too, live in Potomac and our son attended Landon and now Churchill. We pray for your strength and love for each other which will keep Michael's spirit alive!!

Our daughter Molly became friends with Michael this year at UMD and is heartbroken over his tragic death. She will always remember Michael as a caring and wonderful friend who adored his sister and was a generous loving spirit.
