Not sure what to say?

Kathleen and family,

Our hearts are so sad for you all. We didn't know your Dad well but reading all the tributes to him here we know he was a special guy and an amazing father, husband and friend - which goes a long way in understanding why you are such a special person. Our thoughts are with you today.
Much Love, The Leightons

I worked with Mike at HemaSure in Marlboro, Ma. and I am saddened of his passing. He was a nice guy and a real pleasure to work with.

Mrs. Neyens, Brendan, Pat and Kathleen
I am sorry for your loss and also sorry I can't be there to help out. I am happy that I was able to meet a great man in Mr. Neyens and have a great friend in Brendan. The meals and beers after football games and random get togethers are memories that I often reminisce on daily. Your Dad was always down for a pint or two and never failed to share one of his great stories. I will continue to keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless...

Dearest Mary - Thinking about the look of joy on Mike's face as he watched you walk down the aisle and how beloved you were. Sending loving thoughts and prayers to you - we are so sorry...

to Kathleen,Mary Patrick,Brendan and family, we looked forward to each and every Quinnipiac basketball game we would see you and sit with you and cheer with you all and we will cherish those memories forever, our hearts are hurting and our prayers are with you all

I knew Mike during our high school and college years. I can still hear the distinctive laugh of the boy I knew in those days. Just months ago, when he returned to Dubuque for our 50th high school reunion, we had a long conversation. I was impressed with how well-considered his thoughts and opinions were; and how they were cushioned with a kind and gentle manner. I remember thinking to myself as he spoke, how I wished I could have been his neighbor in adult life.

Dear Mrs. Nevans and family,
Our son Eric is serving with Brendan in Coronado, and we had the privelage of meeting him in March, before they left for Great Lakes. We are very sorry for your loss, and our prayers and thoughts will be with you and your family.

The word for Mike was ... and is ... "class." I'm so sorry to hear this... Mary, my thoughts are with you.

Kathleen ~
Our hearts grieve with you. Our deepest condolences to you and your family, my dear. Know that we are thinking of you and send our love.
