Mrs. Neyens, Brendan, Pat and Kathleen
I am sorry for your loss and also sorry I can't be there to help out. I am happy that I was able to meet a great man in Mr. Neyens and have a great friend in Brendan. The meals and beers after football games and random get togethers are memories that I often reminisce on daily. Your Dad was always down for a pint or two and never failed to share one of his great stories. I will continue to keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless Henry O

I knew Mike during our high school and college years. I can still hear the distinctive laugh of the boy I knew in those days. Just months ago, when he returned to Dubuque for our 50th high school reunion, we had a long conversation. I was impressed with how well-considered his thoughts and opinions were; and how they were cushioned with a kind and gentle manner. I remember thinking to myself as he spoke, how I wished I could have been his neighbor in adult life.

As a local professional recruiter, I had the pleasure and honor of knowing Mike for about 7-years...initially our contact was mainly related to business topics, but after a short time, I developed a personal friendship with Mike and it was then that I learned of his deep love of life, family and friends...in particular, he was incredibly passionate about the various things his children were involved with and whenever we spoke, the conversation would invariably end with us each updating the other about our kids latest activities...Mike was one of the most sincere, bright and caring individuals I have ever known and I will miss him greatly...may you rest in peace my friend...I want to extend my deepest condolences to the Neyens family...Chip Huckins
