Heard about Mike's passing just a few days ago- what a terrible loss.
First ran into Mike back in what, '94? I know that the only reason I survived 6th grade was because Mike had my back. He had an ability to make you take a step back and start laughing at everything. Though we lost touch since high school, he's one of the few people in the world you can't say a bad word about. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and daughter- though they should know they are blessed to have had...

Joe and Alex, I want you to know that I share your pain on the passing of Micheal. Time has passed but the hole in my heart will remain. I find comfort in knowing that Micheal is with his Aunt Beverly and his pop pop ,Jay.I know they will take good care of him. With a little luck someday I may join my family again. I look forward to that happening. Love You and GOD bless.
Uncle Ray.

Joe and Alex,
Michael is truly a gift to my family - an encouragement to my father, a friend to my aunt! I am so very happy that we met. I told him that my family would adopt him... and, of course, Aunt Alice did right away. We are so lucky to have him in our family.
I will always remember his bright, saucy smile! Thanks for sharing him with us.
love, Amy

Mike was my first friend in a new school during yet another transition in my life. Being one of few black kids Mike made it a point to be friendly. He didnt know it wasnt a first time for me being in the mass minority and he didnt care. We had great times at my house, going to church, playing basketball to just having fun during flex. He was a loyal and good friend with a good heart. He is missed by many. God bless my friend. May the Lord give your family his peace that passes all understanding.

I knew Mike through one of his best friends in high school..Josh Lutterschmidt... even though I only knew him a little, Mike left the impression of a warm, gentle and caring guy..and funny. To his family..I am so sorry for the loss you all have endured! Loosing someone so great must be so hard, but always remember that you will meet up with him again one day! Josh and myself have tried several times to contact Mike but had no sucess...and then to hear that he was ill and passed on was a...
