MICHAEL NOVAK
Michael (Mike) Novak and I first met at a picnic at Sheraden Park, Pittsburgh, PA. The picnic was sponsored by the local parents of Holy Cross seminarians. It was in the summer of 1951. Earlier that spring, both Michael and my eldest brother, Jack, graduated from Holy Cross Seminary at the University of Notre Dame.
