Michael Patrick Douglas O'Brien March 17, 1953 - July 1, 2010 His life will be celebrated publicly at 'Hippie Hill' (nr. the Tennis Courts) in G. G. Park on Sat., July 24, between 12 and 2 p.m. A Memorial Website for Michael has been created on www.Legacy.com under Michael O'Brien, open to all.

In my 28 years around people in 12 Step recovery, I occassionally have the good fortune to meet an individual who "Get's it"! Michael was one of those. He always had that smile that made one feel he knew something that the rest of us didn't. His level of gratitude for sobriety and life was unwavering and complete.
