Michael Lenarth Peterson

My forever memory of Michael, is his beautiful smile. I can´t think of a time when I have not seen a smile on Michael´s face. His smile would light up the room when he entered. Most of all that smile brought a smile to my son Samsons face, and for that I am forever grateful. When I close my eyes and think of Michael, his smile beams through. I am sure Michael would want to be remembered that way, and through all of this we can think of him and smile, and be grateful we had an opportunity...

I never had the opportunity of meeting Michael in person, only over FaceTime....that will always be one of my biggest regrets. After spending time in Chicago after his passing with my brother Samson, and attending services, the one word that comes to mind now when I think of Michael is LOVE. I left there knowing and feeling how much he loved my brother and his entire family. Michael had some pretty amazing people in his life, and it´s very apparent people are better for knowing and loving...

My forever lasting memory of Micheal, will always be, the perpetual smile he always had on his face. I have never seen him without one! He lit up the room when he came into it with that smile. Most of all, the smile he put on my son Samson face. I will miss you Michael, but when I close my eyes, I still see that smile and I will forever hold onto that memory. I´m sure that is how you would want us to remember you.

Michael was an incredible force for good and the love of my life. I will miss him as long as I live.
