Words fail me my dear, dear friend .... ...however I do smile when i think of how lucky you are to have found a true soul mate, a wonderful partner and a best friend. I remember leaving Jaspers , driving home with the windows down and Mike putting a bale of hay in the garage in preparation for your arrival....I wish i were there to hug you...please know my thoughts are with you in heart and prayer....take care of your self and your family....my love always Anne Vierheller

Maryann,

To live in hearts we leave behind
Is not to die.
~Thomas Campbell, "Hallowed Ground"

We are so sorry to hear about the death of Mike, your dear Husband and Father. Fond memories of him in the Springfield Station neighborhood over the years. Our prayers are with you.

Maryann,
I am very sorry to hear about Mike. As soon as I heard the news, I thought about the good times we had as fraternity brothers and business partners with our hoagie business at St. Francis College. Michael will forever be in my prayers. God Bless you and your family. Andy Getsy, an old classmate of yours and Michaels

Maryann and family,
Mike hired me at BLS 35 years ago, and I'm sure he took some pleasure in the success I've had, rising to Deputy Commissioner. He should also have taken some credit as well. I learned from his example, not his words, that you don't cut corners, you work until the work is done, and you don't settle for second-rate, when first-class is possible. I was so proud when he put a gold star on the top of one of my technical memos that he had reviewed. It seems a bit silly...

Dave,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family today. I pray that you can cherish the memories you had over the years with your father. May the great memories shared stay with you & continue to bring joy in your life.
