Dear, dear Linda:

Darlene Dennis called George today to tell him that she had just heard from the Greensboro office about Mike's passing. George and I are so sorry for your loss of your dear husband Mike. He was a very fine man and it was quite obvious to us that he adored you, his children, and the grandchildren. Please know that we are praying for God's comfort for you.

Love, Margaret and George Coxhead, Charlotte, NC

With Deepest Sympothy and regard to the family. Our Prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs. Porter and Family:

When hearing the news I was so shocked and struck with sadness. Michael was a dear friend all through High School. My whole entire family became very close to Michael and my Father who is no longer with us treated him as a son (they are now up there working-out and having fun). Michael and I had tons of fun and may laughs as well as meaningful chats about life and expectations...He truly was a good friend and oh so dedicated to life and proving he can...

I do not know you or your family, but wanted you to know that my heart is heavy for you! I cannot believe that this has happened!! Your husband must have been a wonderful, caring man, from what I have been reading about him!! My love and prayers are with you!

Valerie, Beverly and Jimmy,

We were out of town and only today heard about your terrible loss. Mike was such a good young man with a great personality and outlook on life. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.
We are deeply sorry for your loss,

Don and Joan Whitley

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. THERE IS NO GREATER LOSS IN THE WORLD. I LIVE WITH THE SAME KIND OF LOSS EVERYDAY. BE STRONG FOR ALL YOUR FAMILY AND CHERISH EACH OTHER. LIVE ONE DAYAT A TIME AND NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. FAMILY IS VERY IMPORTANT AND SHOULD ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ONE ANOTHER. HAD FUN GROWING UP WITH ALL OF YOU.

Beverly... There are simply no words to say what I want to express. Nothing comes close. I know the many precious memories you have will somehow bring you comfort. Deepest, deepest sympathy.

Beverly and family

Mike was such a special person. He was always such a kind and caring friend, dedicated to his family and his jobs. Although we did not remain in touch over the years, whenever we did run across each other's paths, he was still the same person as always. It is so heart wrenching to hear of the circumstances of his death. It just reinforces the adage, live as Mike did...to the fullest. He was my first kiss and my first male friend (I went to an all girl's school). ...

Brittany and Brooke, (Tammy)
I am so sorry to hear this sad news of your loss. Please know you and Mikes' whole family are in my thoughts and prayers.
