Not sure what to say?

I was one of Dr. Quigley's students in the early 1990's at TWU. He was so free spirited, wore shorts to class, and challenged us to live outside of our own experiences! What an awesome teacher! I was looking for him to tell him how much I appreciated him. Unfortunately, I am too late to tell him, but I can let the family know that the world is a better place because of him! I will miss him! It's been a little over one year since I lost you. You are with me all the time and I still look for your little beat up Honda when I turn the corner to our house. I miss our daily Upwards games and the way you'd rug my neck each night before we fell asleep. Thanks for giving your unconditional love to me and accepting my love. You were and always will be the love of my life.

You were a really good english teacher, one of the best teachers on cal poly for sure. I will never forget what I learned in your class. It is sad and unfortunate to hear your gone. Its still hard to believe you were in a classroom just last year and now your gone. Iam sure you have touched many people's lives. You will live on through everyones prayers and memories. I wish your family the best during the difficult times.

I was a student of Dr. Quigley's in the early 90's when he was at Texas Woman's University. Tonight I happened upon a poem in a book that reminded me of Dr. Quigley. Specifically, it reminded me of how I shared both a short story and poem I had written with him one day. He read both and told me to stick to short stories! I have reflected humorously over the years about his honesty and I must say, I agreed with him! I have also reflected many times that he was the only professor who...

My deepest condolences go out to the Quigley family.
I graduated from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona approximately a year and a half ago.
It was and always will be an honor to have had a Professor like Michael Dennis Quigley.
Today, I decided to send him an e-mail and ask him if I, as an Alumni, could attend one of his class sessions and hear him speak. I now understand this will not be possible. This, fellow friends and family, is the type of impact Professor...

Our thoughts and prays go out to the family and knowing that Micheal is in a better place now and with God by his side hopefully will put you all at ease.
Your friends,

I'm sorry for your loss. I absolutely hate public speaking, but his public speaking class was the best class I took my freshman year. He was easily one of my favorite professors and he will seriously be missed.
