Quite simply there could Never be another Mike Ratty. I owe so much to Mike. He gave me opportunities that are to this day reminding me how lucky I was to know Him. Mike soloed Me on my 16th Birthday. Mike got me a job at Anthony Aircraft which was an unbelievable experience. When we would ferry a plane Mike would put me in the left seat and let me get the time. Mike along with the other special People in Aviation gave me my life and I am so grateful. Basically my life is nothing less...

I only flew with him one time in his Waco but the seventh grader that flew with us went on to become an aeronautical engineer graduating with honors from NCSU and now works for Boeing as an engineer on the dream liner. We share a picture of Michael coming around for a final approach at Henderson airfield and it made a life changing impression.
