Not sure what to say?

Michael, you were such a great guy And funny too! Gone way too soon Your classmate 1 D. Class of 63

When Michael's family moved to STL, he and I lived on the same street: Kingsbury. It may have been the very last street within the Parish boundaries of OLOL. Between our 2 houses was a great place to play some basketball. Michael and his SLUH buddies (Mike, Steve, Jim, Joe and Terry) would show up to play + I would be there wanting to be included. Michael was always the gentleman and (reluctantly) would say OK..... We played basketball together for many years on that turntable - long...

I met Mike for the first time, as many federal agents did, when he prosecuted my cases as AUSA. He was easy to work with, made the cases better where needed and very serious in his demeanor. He didn't hold it against me that he was SLUH '63 and I was CBC '63. He also was a fun guy. Periodically, he held court at the infamous Mind Shaft. One night in particular, a steamy Strassenfest Friday night, we may have sought refuge from the heat at "The Shaft" with two coconspirators. Someone...

Our condolences to Marbie and the Reap family. Ursula and I were married in the first wedding of the day at Lourdes 52 years ago on August 8th. Our family and friends were entering the church as the Reaps were exiting their 11 am nuptials. Shared the flowers as I recall! I also knew Mike from SLUH where he was a year ahead of me. We played many years of rugby together at Forest Park and the Midwest. A great guy and teammate, and obviously a talented lawyer. Our condolences Ursula and....

So many great memories with Mike as he volunteered at Our Lady´s Inn. We talked a lot of history and great books to read! He talked endlessly about camping and vacationing with kids and grandkids. He was a kind hearted soul! God will surely bless him!

Dear Marbie and family - We were so sorry to hear of Mike´s passing. We will miss seeing him at Sunday 5 PM Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes. He was truly blessed with a wonderful life and loving family. We are traveling East this week but you all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marbie & Family-I am so sorry to read of your great loss & wish I could be with you on Thursday for the Mass at OLOL, however, that is the morning I go to my physical therapy for my back, so I will be thinking of all of you & praying for you at the 8:30 Mass at St. Anselm that morning. May Mike be resting in peace & may all of your hearts soon be filled with joyful memories of a life well lived. With deepest sympathy, Love & prayers, Clare Martin
