Condolences to Fr Thomas Prendiville and the Provincial Community on the death of Fr Mike Ribotta. May his example inspire many young men to dedicate their lives to Don Bosco's mission, as he did.

Appropriately, Father Mike passed on to his heavenly reward on June 22nd, as time is reckoned in California. That would be June 23rd in Italy and the date when we commemorate the death of Saint Joseph Cafasso, a mentor of Saint John Bosco. Father Mike, like his brother, Father Frank, was a saint in life and I am confident he has now joined the ranks of Salesian saints. May he pray for all of us.
