Michael Melvin Rutledge

My daughter attends PSJA North (Raiderettes)and although she did'nt know Michael personally they had mutual friends and we attended his funeral because we were really touched by the outpouring of friendship and love amongst his friends/family. The days following his passing my daughter and I were listening to christian radio and we heard a song. even though i might not have known your son in person, i still feel your pain and im greatly sorry for this great loss, but please dont you cry, remember... everything happens for a reason. if god chose to take your son with him, it was only because he needed michael with him. god never gives you more pain than you can handle, so please stop your cries, and be happy that atlast your son is up in heaven with his creator.

My family & I would like to express our deepest condolences to you all during this time. I found out about Micheal on Easter Sunday when I read the obits in the Monitor. After making some calls, I found out it was your son. I last saw you all at my moms rosary and funeral in December (Tia Grace Garza). All I know is God is in control.

My heart cries with yours. Michael's death has reopened a wound that has not healed... it never will. I will contact you soon, I just wanted to assure you, I promise, YOU will smile again, YOU will laugh and YOU will find happiness - it will just take time. Our love and prayers are with you and yours.
