Not sure what to say?

For those who come across this or are following this, we're going to hold a wake for Mike at the University Club on Summit Avenue in Saint Paul on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Come by and roast Mike by sharing the most embarrassing (for him) memories, or the fondest if you're into that kind of thing. He will be in attendance, or at least his ashes. Beer and snacks.

I had the pleasure of selecting Micheal as my lawyer, and he helped me win the case and receive all of my money back. I am saddened to hear of his death and will be always grateful for his assistance and compassion during my time of need. He was an excellent lawyer, and his charisma and skill helped us win. I will be eternally grateful to him for assisting me and my mother during our legal fight. He gave solid advise, and he will be missed by both me and my mother.

Mike was a loyal and longtime member of our Great Books Group at the University Club of St. Paul. He attended faithfully and contributed so much to our discussions throughout the years. We could always count on him for a close study of the text, a unique perspective, and of course for his provocative humor! He'll be greatly missed.

Extending my most sincere condolences to the Saeger family.

I am sorry to see Michael´s obituary. I remember him because of Mary Ellen. I was a nurse at the U and one of Mary Ellen´s primary nurses. She is someone I still think of today as one of my favorite patients. She went thru a lot and we shared a lot. She was a brave fighter and wasn´t afraid to ask for what she needed. She loved her family and I´ m sure would have been thrilled with her grandchildren. My sympathy to you Sincerely Heather Rykhus

Going to miss you dad

Through thick and thin you always had my back, Mike, even when I didn't realize it. I'm glad you loved me, as well as Candy and the girls. Love you, Mike, and I'm already missing the hell out of you.
