He was my family Dr. since I was a baby and Im now 59. I remember him making house calls to our home on 12th Ave, Newark. He was a great Dr. and I still saw him for many years as a young adult. He always remembered your name and asked about my parents by name. His office was always packed with people waiting to be seen. He was a rare breed and amazing doctor. We need more like him today. He will be forever missed by all!

Dr. Scoppetuolo was our family doctor. He literally treated everyone in our family. He delivered me and my cousins. I moved from NJ a few years ago and just heard of his passing. Whenever I went to his office he would always read the notes from when I was little and make sure to tell me that he remembered how little and sick I was. Just a very personable, warm and caring man.

Dr Scoppetuolo was our family doctor for many years. Even though I was little I still remember him making house calls when his office was a few doors down from our house on Smith St. We then continued to go to him for years when he moved his office at Clara Mass Hospital until I moved to Florida. My prayers and condolences go out to his family. He was the best doctor. He will be truly missed.

This world has no more doctors like Dr Scoppetolo. He was the BEST Doctor in New Jersey. He did make house calls as I lived next door to him on Smith Street and when my children were very sick he would come next door and exam them. He was our doctor for 18 years until I moved to Florida. I asked the Dr to come move with us and he just laughed and gave me a hug. I have never ever found a Dr like Dr Scoppetuolo. He was the Best and will be greatly missed by me and my three children ....Heaven...

Dr Scoppetuolo was my three children and my own family doctor for 18 years and I was very sad when I moved to Florida and he could no longer be our Doctor.. He has been greatly missed by me since I moved to Florida and will now be missed even more ..At least when I went to New Jersey to visit I would sometimes go and see him. My condolences to all of his family and please know he was the Best Doctor I ever had when lived in New Jersey. I used to live at 180 Smith St in the Vaisburg sections...

I believe it began as $4 for an office visit and when Dr. Scoppetuolo moved to Vailsburg, it went up to $5. There was no receipt, he just opened the desk drawer and threw the money in.I knew when he walked into the room said, "What's the matter, Hon?" that no matter what was wrong he could fix it or find a colleague who could fix it. He delivered my daughters and enjoyed teasing me about their Irish names, Maura and Erin. He wanted me to call them Maria and Pattie.I had moved by the time I...

Dr. Scoppetuolo was our family doctor for many, many years. He took care of my sister and myself for at least thirty years. He tended to my parents, and grandparents, as well. He will be missed.

was saddened to hear of the death of my beloved Dr. Scoppetuolo. He was my physician for many years not only delivering my daughter, but my nephew, brother-in-law, and many others. I cannot express what a wonderful doctor he was to me for many years and how he took the time to hold my hand during an operation which had occured on a holiday weekend many years ago. He would go out of his way to comfort and help you in your time of need and he was truly an icon in his field. There was...
