Not sure what to say?

Al and Linda Lunn

My brother and I were under Mr. Sewell's direction at Crooksville High School early in his career. We, along with everyone else, loved him. Sad when he left, but he went on to bigger and better things. So sorry to here of his passing.

Mr. Sewell was one of a kind, such a role model for all. He touched many lives. He will be missed but never forgotten. Alice Rife

Mike was one of my High School classmates and a very good friend of my twin brother Jim. So naturally I got to know Mike better as a friend and it was easy to see even at that young age that Mike had that wonderful quality of sincerely being interested in his friends activities! I spent many a night playing basketball out back of his house along with his brother Mark and his his parents would ALWAYS come out and make it a point to say HI to all us freeloaders. To this day as I pass his old...

Deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Sewell. My daughter Lauren Mock met her husband when we hosted him and 3 other members of the University of Wisconsin marching band in Pickerington her senior year 2000! They married in 2009! Thank You Mr Sewell!

Karen,

I am grateful that you and Mike were part of my young life. If weren't for you, I would not be where I am today. You and Mike cared enough to help a struggling student graduate and move on to successes of my own. Thank you both.

It was an honor to be his student...not only to learn the art he mastered...but to learn how to live our lives after we left his care. He not only built a music program...but a family and a legacy in all of us that can never be forgotten. Looking back on highschool...every memory that stays...begins on that band field. Where we learned...if you were on time you were already late. We learned pride and precision; how to lead and how to follow (after all a section is only as strong as it's...

Karen and family,
I'm sure I speak for Will as well as myself when I tell you how much Mike will be missed. His selfless support of Will and countless others is a legacy not to be denied. I hold all of you close to my heart during this tender time.

I have know Mike since the 70's and he is one of the most influential individuals I have ever know. His passion for music and sports is contagious and you can not get caught up in his appreciation. He is also a very selfless person, the last time I saw Mike he was in a wheel chair and true to Mike's character he ask how my health was with true concern. He was a true friend and we were all better for being in his life! I will miss my friend.
