Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mike's passing. I worked with him for over 25 years, had lunch with him several times a week, played golf and basketball with him a few times, and shared a lot of time with him. He was one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever known. I respected him as a coworker, but also as a friend. I am better for having known him, and am truly saddened to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man.

I join the other cousins and agree with everything they said about Mike! The Combs family lost a dear one, loved by all.
Sending my love.
Mary Anna

How fortunate and what a blessing to have Mike Sherrill as a cousin. Even more fortunate was to live across the street from him the first six years of my life in Troutman. What a kind and gentle person! Out of six children on the Sherrill side, he was the only male, and he put up with us with such ease. I will miss him! My sympathies go out to Nancy, Gregg, and Keith - you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nancy, Greg, Keith and Family,
I am so sorry for the lose of your dear, brother, father, and grandfather! I know that he was a great guy and how much he will be missed! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Keith, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Keith,
I was saddened to hear of the death of your father; my condolences to you and your family...John 5:28-29 gave me comfort when my mom passed away. Perhaps you'll find comfort & hope in those scriptures as well.

Greg and the rest of the family, I am so sorry for your loss I only knew Mike for a short time but I know he was a very sweet and loving man and was much loved by his family and friends...my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this hard time.

Keith,
I'm so sorry to hear this news. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

God bless your lovely family. You are in my thought and prayers always.
