Michael Shuff Obituary
Dover - Michael "Al" F. Shuff, 69, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Roxine (Hughes) Seasock. They were married five years. Michael was the eldest son of the late John F Shuff, and June (Crawford) Shuff.
Born and raised in Hanover, he selected a career with the government, of which he spent 12 years in the U.S. Army, and another 17 years with the Central Intelligence Agency. He also worked 14 years for S.W.I.F.T., later VISA, and HP in the IT arena.
Mike's hobbies included motorcycles, boats and watching sports, specifically the Steelers, his beloved Yankees, and Nascar's Tony Stewart. He was a seasoned traveler, having spent the majority of his government career overseas, and enjoyed ocean cruises and river voyages.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Michele Brown of Herndon, VA; a son, Michael S. Shuff of Carlsbad, CA; a step-daughter, Bobbie J. Johnson of San Pedro, CA, a step-daughter, Tara L. Sykes of West York; and nine grandchildren. Also siblings, Cynthia Rauhauser of Dover, Tammy Webb of Mount Wolf, and Bruce Shuff of Thomasville.
Mike was a life member of the VFW Post 8951, a member of the Shiloh American Legion, and member of the Viking Athletic Assn.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of family.

mike and i were cousins 4 years apart. are moms were twins. mike pull his socks up and made something out of his life, the army and the cia was the greatest thing that could have happen to him. he sat the satandards for others to follow. he was successful in life and i believe that he carries it on today. god bless him and that all that he touched.

I went to a military school with Mike in about 1982 at Fort Huachuca, AZ. I've just learned of his passing. I express my sincere condolences. I would love to know how he finished his career. I believe he went to Israel after training in Huachuca.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing, I wish I could have made it up to see him! We did not see much of each other over the last 30 years. He will always be a part of my life as our families were close!
