Not sure what to say?

I came across of picture of Mike and me this morning. It brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Mike was my mentor, my boss and most importantly my friend. He set my feet on a path in the law that has been a blessing to me and my family for nearly three decades. I will never forget Mike's positive influence for good in my life. Love you Mike!!

i am 2 yrs. too late but i just want to say he was a high school buddy. we both moved west from the east coast & had an adjustment to make in high school. it was a very long time ago, 1958. i was always going to look him up when i was in reno, but you know how that goes. what a successful life he had. i know i copied the answers on a test from the right person.

Michael I did not know of your passing from this world until just now-you were the best friend a young boy, turned a man, could ever have had. Well done Barrister! I love you Michael. I will never forget your humor, warmth, kindness and compassion for others. Your friend, Darrell Nott.

I met Michael in 1971 when he and I worked together in the Public Defender's Office in Reno.
Even then he had the level-headedness, the wisdom, and the sense of humor that propelled him into an honored career. He also had the wisdom to marry his beautiful wife Patti. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Patti and their family. Perhaps we'll have the privilege of seeing him again in another place of honor. Godspeed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was a wonderful man and a great attorney. I loved working with him at the Washoe County Courts.

It was an absolute pleasure knowing Mike over the last 40 years, most recently having the privilege of working closely with him at the Sparks Justice Court. He brightened up the place on his pro-tem days, and will be greatly missed by all.

I met Mike 40 years ago when he was a Juvenile Master and I was a juvenile probation officer. After I graduated from law school and worked as a prosecutor in the juvenile court Mike would preside over my cases and not only serve as a judge but also as my mentor. My heart was broken when I learned of his passing. Brent Adams put it best, 'Mike would have died young at any age." Geno Drakulich

We are so sadden to hear about the loss of one of Reno's great lawyers and patriarch s. Always enjoyed working with him and socializing with him. A truly gifted person on so many levels.
RIP counselor.
