Just heard about Mike's passing when going through the quarterly Trine University publication. So sad to hear this. Mike was a powerhouse of enthusiasm and positivity. I graduated 3 years before Mike but Joan and I saw him during TKE pizza nights in the early 1970's and later during the 2011 and 2013 reunions. Our sincere sympathies to his family and friends.

WE WERE DEVASTATED TO HEAR THAT MICHAEL HAS PASSED. WE JUST FOUND OUT TODAY WHEN WE WERE AT SPECIAL OLMPIC GOLF. WE WERE IN FLORIDA IN APRIL AND WE NEVER GOT A NOTIFICATION - OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO YOU AND RYAN. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY.

My deepest condolences are being sent to the Steffan family. Mike and I spent many years together at E&E and many more along the Scouting trail. A wonderful colleague and cherished friend. I was heartbroken to learn of Mike's passing while I was out of town and could not make either of the services. May the Angels lead him into Paradise and may Perpetual Light shine upon him.
