MICHAEL TIERNEY

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of our cousin, Michael, to Cholangiocarcinoma. Please know that that the entire Tierney family is in our thoughts and prayers.

What a sad sad loss for all who knew Mike and for our community and world. He had a huge heart, charming smile and quick wit. Our paths crisscrossed as softball teammates, biking buddies and Sidwell dads; his integrity and character in all venues was a model for me. I am deeply saddened by his death and blessed to have been touched by such a loving soul.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in my thoughts through this time. I hope the condolences of all around you bring you and your family some comfort.

Michael was one of the nicest people I worked with at NIH. He will be greatly missed by every one.

Michael was a wonderful collaborator - great with patients, professional, and with a gentle humor. The year he helped me select music for the holiday party I learned how much of an Elvis Presley fan he was! Michael, you will be fondly remembered - "thank you very much"

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time. RIP Michael you will be missed by everyone that knew you at NIH.

Please be comforted knowing that Michael was a bright light in our day. He always kept us smiling.
