It was a sad day when i lost my father in law, my childrens grandfather and my husbands stepdad. I've been a part of their family 12 years and haven never felt anything less than a part of their family. I was not given the chance to tell mike what an inpact he had on his grandchildren. Mike may of loved his sports but his grandchildren were a big part of his life. My son will never forget the fishing trips and there weekend fun together and I will forever see Mike in my son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. As you likely recall, I grew up playing basketball and baseball with Mike (and yourself) - countless hours of practice in our backyard and the LC gym...Mike was an outstanding athlete and fearless competitor. May God bless you and your family.

Very sorry to hear about Mike's death. My sympathy to all of his family. Mike was an outstanding athlete; we had many discussions about basketball during our boring history classes.
