It was a sad day when i lost my father in law, my childrens grandfather and my husbands stepdad. I've been a part of their family 12 years and haven never felt anything less than a part of their family. I was not given the chance to tell mike what an inpact he had on his grandchildren. Mike may of loved his sports but his grandchildren were a big part of his life. My son will never forget the fishing trips and there weekend fun together and I will forever see Mike in my son. Mike had a way of leaving an impression on everyone he met and i will always remember Mike and the legacy he left behind.

Dear Rich and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. As you likely recall, I grew up playing basketball and baseball with Mike (and yourself) - countless hours of practice in our backyard and the LC gym...Mike was an outstanding athlete and fearless competitor. May God bless you and your family.
God's peace,

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My condolences to Jane and family, Rich and the Gammells. Mike and I were best friends at LC but never stayed in touch after graduation. We had so many great times; I have many awesome memories of Mike: shooting baskets, playing catch, camping, listening to music, hanging out at the Gammells...Mike was one of the best athletes I've ever been around (except maybe for Rich!).

I was so sorry to learn about Mike's passing. He coached my son in basketball for several years and I know he had a very positive influence on Tyler. He not only brought out the best of one's abitlities, he taught the kids so much more. He seemed to be able to find positive qualities in every boy he coached and bring out the best in each and everyone of them. I was always impressed with his patience and his ability to communicate to the boys. They have carried life lessons he instilled to adulthood. I will miss him and I know those whose lives were touched by him will miss him, too.
