Not sure what to say?

Michael was a warm nice man who made people feel comfortable around him. He was a wonderful friend to my brother Nick. He misses him.

Dear (DR) Vincent Verdile

Your big brother Michael had always greeted your friends and myself with a sincere look of approval.
Being a closee friend to you and meeting your family has always brought fond memories.
I always felt welcome and safe walking thru restaurant to hang out at your house.
God Blessed the Verdile family again and again and will more and more.

To Michael Jr and the whole family, I am sorry to hear of his passing. I worked for him as a late teenager, and enjoyed the restaurants he operated after I moved on, and enjoyed talking with him in all places while dining at all of them. I have great thoughts and memories, and will cherish them. God bless the whole family.

For some reason I kept that message dated 5/15/12 and listened to it every now and then. So glad now that I kept it. That smile and that voice are irreplaceable and are now...

To The Verdile Family and Staff,
Sending our heart felt condolences to all of you. Many of our family celebrations took place at Verdiles. We shall never forget the kindness of Michael upon my mother's passing. Thank you, Michael for great food and for a great restaurant we love to call our favorite Saturday night place. We shall miss seeing you. God bless you and your family.

Michael and I go back working for him in the Lion's Den and other venues he operated. My condolences to the family. Vito Mamone

I started working for Michael with the opening of Donovan's.
I learned a lot about the business from him in a few short years, and these lessons held me in good stead, later owning
a restaurant for over 15 years.

The importance of quality-of food, of service, and of ambiance-was so ingrained in Michael, a testament to his parents and family. By his example, I learned and absorbed this, as so many co-workers did. Still, I can remember Michael, when facing whatever problem of the...
