Not sure what to say?

So hard to believe that it has been 5 years since you have passed away. I think about you often especially as I am cooking soup in the pot that you got for me.

Woontz and my dad, Msgt John M Walker, were best buddies when I was a little boy. They were stationed at Dover AFB together for 7 years. The two of them took me to Memorial Stadium for my first baseball game in 1977, and I witnessed my favorite player of all time - Eddie, Eddie!!! Woontz is THE reason I have been an Orioles fan since I literally can remember.
We sent him care packages when he went to Turkey, and he sent us VHS tapes of recorded games (nba, nfl, mlb, nhl...) after we...

Happy Veterans Day Mike, miss you and God Bless.

Very sad to hear Mike (WOONTZ) has past away. We were roommates my last year 1976. We went back and forth with the Orioles and Yankees, since I am from New York. Met the family one time, when Mike, Carl, and myself went to visit, in Pa. I will miss you bud, you were a true friend. God Bless and see you down the road.

Please accept our sincere sympathies. My husband Russ & I were friends of "Weav" in Delaware. He was a good, kind & generous man. I remember when he attended Cal Ripkin's record breaking game. My daughter, husband & I will miss him very much.

Dearest Uncle Mike how you will be missed. I will cherish the times we spent together and hold them forever close to my heart. Rest in peace and make sure Grandma is behaving herself. You will be missed, never forgotten and always loved.

I will miss u Mike....after having the privilige of you being here for this past Thanksgiving what a treat it was for sure...you p aid me the highest compliment when u said my Turkey gravy tasted like Mom's and that being here with us was like being at Mom's house ....that stuck with me and I will forever remember those kind words..my memories go way back to childhood days playing ball on the back lot on Franklin st...and how proud I was when u entered the Air Force....I will miss those...

Mike, you will surely be missed. My earliest memory of you and the Orioles was the mid 60's on Franklin Street in New Freedom. We didn't have much but you created a bat with a 2x4 and hit stones against the water tank at the Insulator. After hitting the water tank and making a ping noise you started your Chuck Thompson commentary like Boog up to bat. It's a long, long ball deep to left center back, back, back, it's gooooooone! Home Run. Go to War Miss Agnes And if it was a game winner...
