Not sure what to say?

Michael was there to photograph the home birth of our first child. Well, after 24 hours of labor, we decided to go to our local hospital for a shot of Pitocin, along with our entourage. Michael got the first shot of our beloved daughter Chloe after waiting briefly in the hall of the delivery room, where he heard the nurses talking about our drive by birthing, saying "Give her whatever Eva wants". Just wanted to borrow the doctors' shower while Lock held the baby and then home. Thanks for...

May his memory be a blessing to you. We remember Michael and Marilyn visiting Lock's farm in the northern Catskill mountains. Our children Chloe and Skye Lee still own the subsistence farm there where they were born and raised in the one room schoolhouse. Lock dies on Memorial Day 2021, just three months after my husband Lawrence, who left his home schooling business Oak Meadow to our kids, Chloe and Skye Lee.

Dear Marilyn, Josh and Lila, You may not remember us, but M&M kept a caravan on our upper land on the farm in Walton NY where they came and went as they wished from their home in Lomontville. Little did I know how precious our times together were to be. They were so flowing and free with each other and later with their children. Michael attended both our kids (24 hour) home births, which ended up in the local hospital for a shot of Pitocin (should have asked our vet). He was so...

Dear Michael, Marilyn, Josh and Lila, Just so stunned about all this, as you must be. Of course, we got the very unique connection with your family, noodling around the hills and dales at the farm in trout creek, cooking and eating together - the most profoundly simple of things - things that seem they will last forever. Nothing needed to be said - we stirred our light together and now we carry his on. He will be missed by so many; I just know he's smiling on. . . what a profoundly...

In addition to the love, joy, and insight that was always Michael, I'll never forget the first time I met him, at a meeting when he was giving the school board hell many years ago in his calm but very convicted way. A sweet hero.

My favorite picture..blessings and love to you all. How I miss Michael...the music in his voice..the dance in his step and the depth of his convictions. Love Diane

Dearest Marilyn, Josh and Lila, I just read this, although have been in touch before, just want to write here again, how much my heart is with you, Shelia, Perry and Robin. I'm sitting here 'thinking of profound words' to add... but won't. Just a very sincere hug and very sincere love. Joan

To all of Michaels loved ones, our deepest condolences, I recall a conversation with him about painting, art work and getting creative and Michael offered that next time "take your shoes off "it will help you to relax and be creative, will miss him, Love David and robin

Marilyn, so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. He was a unique person, a gentle and sweet soul. My kids all enjoyed having him take their school photos at High Meadow. He will be missed.
