Not sure what to say?

I'm shaking, tears are rolling down my face. Mike has been on my mind so much lately after many years. Today I see on the DeLijn group website he has passed. We worked together in the Public Relations department at Holland America Line. He was my buddy, mentor and new ship inaugural colaborator. We laughed a lot and shared many fun times over the years. He was well liked by everyone, and worked so hard at everything he took on. I remember giving him rides home so he didn't have to walk...

I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I remember Mike from college and mostly with working along side him at Holland America back in the 80'. Those were fun times and fond memories.

Cant believe five years have past. Still thinking of you and your family. KEVIN

Back in 1982, Mike and I lived in Bartlett Hall at UAF. He was one of the first people to introduce himself, always saying, "Hi".

I think of Mike often, still shocked by his passing. He was such a vibrant person who still had so much to do. So tragic.

Mike and I were on the swim team together with what seemed like forever! I remember how close a lot of were back then. He was always such a crack up! We were lucky enough to reconnect not shortly before his passing. What an absolute blessing that was and he still made me laugh. :) Great guy, great family~! xoxo Much love Mikey

I had the privilege of working with Mike at Alaskan Dream Cruises. His contacts in the industry and, more importantly, the trust they had in him, were a huge asset in the development of that start-up company. His love of Alaska and his unwavering commitment to a high standard of service were a potent combination! He was fun to be aroun, and he was funny. He's left a big hole in the lives of many people. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.

I knew Michael in college, and the funny thing about Michael he would always stay in touch. It might be 5 years and he would call and say "I have a layover in Chicago want to get lunch" not everyone is like that, but Mike was, the kind of friend that stayed in touch. He was funny, sweet man, I'm glad I knew him. This is a photo from a fraternity formal.

I worked with Michael for many years in and out of his different jobs working with travel agents. He is most responsible for educating me on ADC. He was such a sweetheart and fun gentle soul. So shocking to learn of his passing. My best to his parents who he loved and spoke of all the time.
