Well, I met Mike at the Possum Lodge, but the memory that came to mind first was when the two of you were in James' ice shack, "The Beaver Den" having a smoke. Unbeknownst to you, James had to move it. I would have loved to have seen your faces when he started driving away with the two of you inside! We had some good times, Mike was an avid NPR listener as I recall, and he listened to what other people had to say. When he spoke he always had a well informed intelligent opinion. I liked him...

I am deeply saddened when I heard of Michael passing... we have great memories of him being our neighbor for so many years... one memory, I will never forget, in my first marriage, we asked Michael to be the ringbearer. He was about six years old he thought for a minute, looked at the ground, and then he said Jerry will do it...(Jrrry was sitting in a stroolrr). .
