I always thought that the true measure of a man was how he treated people that he didn't know very well. I am sad to say that I didn't know Mr. Zirnheld all that well, but we saw each other every year at Dr. Ron Bibb's UK vs UofL basketball party. He always came decked out in a Louisville hat, a U of L sweatshirt, and a smile. He was extremely nice and very approachable (even after his team lost). We are sorry to hear about Mike. We have many fond memories of the Zirnheld family and the Beechmont Youth Baseball days when our boys were playing ball.

Drew and I were in Alabama when we received the news about Mike's passing. Our hearts and prayers go to you and your girls.

Rita,Blair,Lindsay and Halee-Mike was a brother to me and you all played a big part in making me want to marry into such a wonderful family. I'm blessed to have really known Mike, and I love you all.

I was sadden to hear about your loss and my heart aches for your family. Mike and I were friends at Iroquois High School. I will keep you and your family in my prayers
