Not sure what to say?

I remember the weekend trips backs to Miami Beach and Miguels home when there was no baseball. Meeting his parents and brother, visiting the places he would go and introducing me to some of his high school friends made me feel very welcomed. He was truly a friend to me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I met Miguel at PBJC on the baseball field. I couldn't shake his hand because both were broken from punching out the dugout in his last highschool game. We became roommates our second year at PBJC. even though we didnt see each other very much over the next 40 years, he has been one of my best and closest freinds. I saw him 2 years ago on a buisness trip, met his son Michael and spent some time with his mother. I will miss him dearly.

My deepest condolences to miguel's family my father willie thompson and miguel were very good friend that meet when my father worked with the white sox miguel was a good man and will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to Miguel's family.... We were good friends when we all lived on Miami Beach. I'll never forget his smile and sense of humor...Pat played sports with him for many years, too. We so wish we could have seen him in the last years... life is too short... he was taken too young and will be missed my many. Sincerest sympathy..

Miguel Diaz was one of the first Cubans I ever met as a kid growing up in Miami Beach. He was always a great guy and an inspiration to others. RIP, Miguel.

I am still in shock over Miguel's passing! I was just at the house a few days before he went back in the hospital and he was cracking jokes. I will never forget how much he helped me get back on my feet after a layoff. Miguel was hilarious and had a heart of gold. I will miss you Miguel!

Miguel was an amazing man. It was an absolute honour to know him and be a part of his life. He will be truly missed by us both. Miguel was one in a million and sad we didn't get to say goodbye. He has touched so many hearts. We used to come to Florida to go to Disney and see Miguel but over the years it turned into coming to see Miguel and then going to Disney. Florida will never be the same for us. God bless Miguel you are an angel and love you dearly. We send all our love and thoughts...
