Not sure what to say?

Leise, you are in my heart and I am so truly sorry about your loss. What you and Mike had was such a special light that the glow was so obvious even to those of us that didn't know Mike - it was really amazing. You were blessed to have him, but he was also blessed to have you. Your strength will get you through this.

I had the privledge of spending only a few days with Mike here in my beloved Pike county Ohio woods. He fell in love with our place and our people. It is a tragedy that we will not be able to continue this tradition. However, I know he is watching over me from that big hunting lease in the heavens above, trying his best to lead that big bruiser buck my way. Thank you Mike. You will be missed.

We are so deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing. He was a warm and friendly spirit who loved sharing his love of the outdoors. We will never forget Mike, or his love for his family...many prayers coming your way.

Sincerely, Lisa Welch and Tom Bartley

Mike was great man and outdoorsman,...i'm glad to have called him a friend,..my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I met Mike maybe 20 years ago.He seemed to love all aspects of the outdoors and he did beautiful taxidermy work.He died doing what he loved to do.I wish we could all do that.

Leise and family, I am so very sorry for your devastating loss. My prayers are with all of you. May you find strength and comfort in the Lord.

The last time I saw Mike and you was when y'all came over and he borrowed my chipper and saw my pet deer. So sorry for your loss, didn't know Mike very well, but I thought a lot of him. Thoughts and prayers will be with you and family.
