I heard the story that Uncle Mike´s family of 9 children only had ice cream on Mike´s Birthday. The flavor was vanilla.

My sweet Uncle is gone. All his siblings are now together in Heaven. We were raised knowing our family and had Uncle Mike not traveled that "road" to California in his Willy´s Jeep, 4 kids in tow, everything would be different. I know he was proud of his family and I´m glad we all grew up together. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th generations of Family have passed this way. Uncle Mike was a strong and future driven man. Uncle Mike and Aunt Ruth and their family were a big part of my growing up years. There would be family dinners and BBQs and stories and laughter. There was a sense of togetherness and sharing. I will always think fondly of those times. And through the years, I enjoyed seeing his welcoming presence at family events.
Uncle Mike was a good person.
God has a special place for him in heaven.
Rest In Peace uncle.
