Mike and I went to the Monastery together as children in school. Later on he worked in my home for Rauser Contracting. I always had good memories of Mike. He was always a nice friend to me in the awkard growing up years. Always made me laugh.

Ever since I came into the family some 15 years ago, I have had a very profound respect for the whole family, but Mike in particular. I always viewed him as a perfect example of how to live life well. He was truly a man to look up to. I feel like a better person just having known him.

I went to St. Joseph Monastery Grade School and Mt. St. Joseph High School '68 with Mike. Played sports with him. What a guy he was. Always smiling. So much fun. He will be missed. See you in the afterlife Mike. Roger will show you the ropes up there.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was such a great guy, always smiling and going with the flow. It makes me wonder why bad things happen to good people and truly the good do die young. (I believe old is now 97). You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you all!
