Mike and I went to the Monastery together as children in school. Later on he worked in my home for Rauser Contracting. I always had good memories of Mike. He was always a nice friend to me in the awkard growing up years. Always made me laugh.
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss and I will always remember Mike.

Sincerely,
Georgeanne Kimmelshue Trummert

Ever since I came into the family some 15 years ago, I have had a very profound respect for the whole family, but Mike in particular. I always viewed him as a perfect example of how to live life well. He was truly a man to look up to. I feel like a better person just having known him.

Jean, Greg, Rebekah, Sarah, you have all been in our prayers and you will be still. We love you guys.

I went to St. Joseph Monastery Grade School and Mt. St. Joseph High School '68 with Mike. Played sports with him. What a guy he was. Always smiling. So much fun. He will be missed. See you in the afterlife Mike. Roger will show you the ropes up there.
Your friend,

Jeannie, Greg, Sarah & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was such a great guy, always smiling and going with the flow. It makes me wonder why bad things happen to good people and truly the good do die young. (I believe old is now 97). You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you all!
Love,
Dorothy & Mike Ford

Jean, Sara and Greg, Your sense of loss is felt by all of us. Mike was a great husband, dad and friend. He taught me so much about what is was to be a good person and to have fun in life no matter what you faced. The last time I talked to Mike I was offering words of courage and telling him how he was in our thoughts and prayers. He turned it around and started asking how we were doing and how our plans were going for the farm. I told him and he offered words of encouragment. After hanging up I couldn't help but think what just happened? Mike being Mike wanted to make sure that we were ok and he did what he could to help us. Although the loss is heavy the legacy he leaves is one that will never be forgotten. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
