My sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful and most kind mother. She was my Government Teacher at a Petersburg, High School. She took to me because my maiden name was Merritt and gave me my first Baby Shower at school. I will always cherish her wonderful act of kindness to assist a future teen mother, she did not look down on me, but lifted me up and encouraged me. As a result, I completed High School, College and received my Master's Degree as well...

Being born and raised in Blandford I have known Mrs.Caldwell all of my life as she was friends of the Moorefield/Ridley family.
She also was my favorite educator.
She will always be treasured in my heart as a woman of grace and style and the epitome of elegance.
