Millie was one of the finest and most dedicated people. Her leadership roles at the Heart Association were outstanding. A vacation with her daugter Cindy hiking in the Grand Canyon as chaperone for a group of scouts was unforgettable. To know her was to admire, respect, and love her.

Millie Crom was a highly respected force in the San Diego County Heart Association and the San Diego Cardiology community during her tenure as Director of the Heart Association. Bold in thought, a good manager, a vivid personality, warm in spirit and manner. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with "Millie".

I have a lot of wonderfull memories, from picking and curing olives, making jam, watching satellite TV for the first time, even once launching a model rocket (A space shuttle replica) that blew up in mid-air! But I never knew how many important things she had been involved with over the years before and after i was born.

All those memories... I will miss you aunt Millie, God bless you
