We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. The story in our family is that Millie, a sorority sister of my Mother (Gail Macartney) introduced her to my Father (Arthur Huckaby). I am very grateful to her for that! All my life I have heard about Millie from my Mom. I guess you know my Husband (John Brendt Williamson) also. He knew Carole from Pacific Beach. His Mom passed away 9 years ago, my Dad 6 years ago and my Mom 5 years ago. We know what you are going through and our thoughts are with you.

Millie was one of the finest and most dedicated people. Her leadership roles at the Heart Association were outstanding. A vacation with her daugter Cindy hiking in the Grand Canyon as chaperone for a group of scouts was unforgettable. To know her was to admire, respect, and love her.

Millie Crom was a highly respected force in the San Diego County Heart Association and the San Diego Cardiology community during her tenure as Director of the Heart Association. Bold in thought, a good manager, a vivid personality, warm in spirit and manner. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with "Millie".

I have a lot of wonderfull memories, from picking and curing olives, making jam, watching satellite TV for the first time, even once launching a model rocket (A space shuttle replica) that blew up in mid-air! But I never knew how many important things she had been involved with over the years before and after i was born.

All those memories... I will miss you aunt Millie, God bless you
