Miles was the last of a great dynasty of American
writers: Glendon, Kathryn, and Miles Swarthout.
He will be missed by his family and friends, most
especially by me, who drew inspiration from him
as a fellow writer.
He was the best cousin ever, and always hugely
fun to be around.
I hope he is kicking back and trading Western
yarns with his parents somewhere peaceful. RIP.
