Not sure what to say?

Aunt Millicent, I hope you heard me somehow in your last day of life. I admired you and always reveled in your stories about my parents, my grandfather and grandmother, and you and Bob. You weathered some difficult times and the challenges of multiple moves with kids. Now we carry your memories and spirit forward and share them with the next generation. We miss you and the loss of the matriarch of the family.

Aunt Millicent, you took a keen interest in people and their well being, that is what mattered most to you.

I had the privilege of getting to know Millicent as she was in the same nursing facility as my father. May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

It's hard to believe the last of this generation of our family is gone. Aunt Millicent always managed to know what was going on in our lives, no matter the time it had been since we saw her. She was adored and will be missed.

I will miss you, Aunt Millicent. You were always keenly interested in all the Debes and had a lively mind and wit.

I will miss you Aunt Millicent.
