Marti and I are are sad to see an old friend pass on. We are very happy, however, to have known Russ and enjoyed our friendship through the years. We look back with happiness to those times he was here in our town and was able to join us celebrating various holidays. I can remember a Thanksgiving or two that we had the pleasure of his company with our family. He will be missed in our hearts and our future.

I was saddened to learn of Russ’s passing away with the dawn of the New Year, but realize we are much encouraged that he has helped us make many great friends with the ARES group, for whom he was a great representative.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I shall always remember the good times with Russ: the days at work at the FAA; the days in the mountains camping and cutting wood and at a much younger age--the days skiing.
