Milton Vaughn Obituary

Milton Joseph Vaughn, resident of Bayou Pigeon, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. Clare Manor, Baton Rouge. He was 69. Milton had retired from Shell Oil Company as an Operator and after retirement became an entrepreneur. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and most of all his grandchildren. He also served as a Police Juror for Iberville Parish. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joann Crochet Vaughn; birth mother, Grace Settoon; stepmother, Lucy Vaughn; 3 sons, Brent Vaughn (Becky Bohlander), Brian Vaughn (Christina), and Chad Vaughn (Melanie Goodwin); five sisters, Brenda Landry (Clyde), Kate Landry (Dean), Jaqueline Vaughn (Vernon), Sandra Settoon (Chris), and Linda Mabile (Tony); 3 brothers, Cecile Vaughn (Alice), Mertile Settoon (Patricia), and Jeffrey Settoon; 6 grandchildren, Ryan Vaughn (fiancé Blair Bolds), Chelsea vaughn, Julienne Vaughn, Addison Vaughn, Hunter Vaughn, and Brooke Banta; 1 great grandchild, Natalie Vaughn; and a sister in law, Yvonne Hebert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oswald and Julienne Hebert Vaughn; birth father, Russell Vaughn; step father, Marshal Settoon; brothers, Lynn Paul Hebert, Aubrey Vaughn, and Stephen Settoon. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 8 am until 11:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph the Worker Church at noon, Rev. Al Davidson officiating. Entombment to follow in the church mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Ryan Vaughn, Ryan Mabile, Michael Vaughn, Jason Crochet, Derrick Settoon, and Burt Clement.
