Not sure what to say?

George: Please forgive me for not acknowledging the loss of your Mother earlier. As you probably know our family was in Va. on June 26,27 and 28 with the loss of our Uncle Hunter and visiting Aunt Frances. Your Mother was so very special to all of us and we were so very fortunate to have had her as a teacher, neighbor and friend for so many years. I am so glad we had an hour or so just to ourselves in March 2008 when we were on our way to Florida. Seeing the both of you last August was a...

I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF YOUR LOVED ONE.NO TIME ON EARTH IS LONG ENOUGH TO SHARE WITH THOSE WE LOVE OR TO PREPARE OUR HEARTS FOR GOOD-BYE.MAY TIME SOFTEN THE PAIN UNTIL ALL THAT REMAINS IS THE COMFORT OF PRECIOUS MEMORIES AND THE LOVE SHARED.(KEEPING YOU IN MY PRAYERS AND WISHING YOU PEACE.)

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Minnie Mae was not only a distant cousin but tought me for a while at Thalean Elementary in Sumter Co. in the early 30's. She was always nice to me in both capacities. Thanks for her life & may her soul rest in peace. James Griffin.

My deepest sympathy to her family. She will always be remembered by her students at Holland High School and Forest Glen High School. It was a privilege to have her as a teacher. May God bless and heaven has welcomed another angel from earth.

Doris Pierce Johnson, FGHS 1966

She had a genuine love of her family and her students and that influence will be greatly missed. Her time on this earth influenced many, many people in a positive way. I'll miss her annual Christmas letter telling about her latest adventures with her son and their friends from Suffolk. Again, God...
