It was such sad news to learn of Miriam's death; she was an intelligent and sweet lady, very accomplished and succinct as a writervery much in the vein of her famous father, Edgar Villchur. Miriam's blog on her family history was exceptionally well written and concise, detailed and very interesting, and her father would have been very proud of her work. Unfortunately, it was not finished.

I am really very sorry to hear of this; too soon. Miriam was an eloquent and articulate custodian of her father's distinguished legacy and place in the history of science and business. We should all have such a child.

Although I have seen and heard Miriam perform a number of times with Woodstock Renaissance, read many of her Maverick concert notes and conversed with her at concerts there, the memory I'll carry with me the longest will be more recent.
