Aunt Mimi was such an inspiration to me. I enjoyed her wit, admired her for her creative talents, her highly intellectual grasp of the world, her spontanaiety, her wisdom, her realistic approach to life, her generous spirit, her appreciation for authenticity and her desire to see women succeed at every level, be treated equally to men and respected for their desire to make the world a better place. She believed in the Golden Rule and lived by it. She detested racism, bigotry and...

I was Aunt Mimi's namesake. She was a wonderful role model and I will miss her for the rest of my life.

I still can't grasp that she is gone. The laughs, words of wisdom, encouragement, love, joy, happiness, challenging conversations are just but a few of the gifts that she gave to me and to my husband Paul each time we had the opportunity to talk with her and/or visit her. My beloved Aunt Mimi, I miss our phone conversations so very much. I love you.
